He’s adorable. He’s Dexter Morgan, America’s favorite serial killer who spends his days solving crimes and his nights committing them. During season 8, Angel Batista was not always played by David Zayas.
His son, David Zayas Jr
replaces his father in some shots as they look remarkably similar. Dexter has a large scar on his left side that is visible throughout the first season. Subsequently, in the second season, the scar has moved to his right side, leaving the left side unmarked.

The complex, damaged characters, the twisted plot, and Dexter’s adoptive father looking out for him, training him to become the perfect Avenger – it’s all so intoxicating! Not only is this show well-acted, with every main character capturing my full attention, but it’s written with such deep intensity that I find it completely irresistible. I have a hard time waiting to see more of how Dex was traumatized as a child, more of Harry’s lessons, more of his growing relationship with Rita, more of the Ice Truck Killer, more of the forensic science…
